Business Acumen: Do 真正的TORS® need it? 真正的TORS®有吗?
Business acumen is a phrase used to describe a variety of business skills, it’s not your gut or having a good sense at business, but physical concrete skills you can learn and grow. The more business acumen you have (aka your toolbox), the more effective you’ll be at making sound business decisions. The bigger and more diverse you make this toolbox, the better your chances for arriving at the best outcome for a given situation.

Examples of business acumen skills can include:

  • Communication – being effective, concise, clear
  • 协作

  • Recognizing customer needs
  • Having initiative- being a self-starter
  • Ability to focus and remove external/internal distractions
  • Being calm in any situation (professional composure)

Emotional Intelligence – what is it and why do you need it as a real estate agent?

Emotional intelligence is having the ability to identify and manage your own internal emotions and then recognizing the emotions of others and responding appropriately. You may be asking yourselves, “Why should I care about this as a real estate agent?” According to an article on Inman (see link below), the most important EQ skills that relate specifically to real state include negotiation skills, 可爱, 信任, 销售策略, and clear communication. Having and building strong emotional awareness (EQ) directly correlates to becoming highly successful.
